Director, Client Experience
Reach yearly sales and delivery targets by:
- Establish relationships between Optimal Strategix and relevant personnel in target industries and companies
- Successfully articulate our value proposition and target the appropriate individuals within key prospects
- Manage the sales process as required to “win the business” in new accounts
- Manage client/business relationships, including price and schedule commitments, to ensure customer satisfaction leading to retention and growth within existing accounts
- Direct and steer engagements, work effectively with the delivery team to ensure that projects are delivered successfully
- Projects are staffed/kicked off internally as expeditiously as feasible
- Invoices are accepted by Client procurement and paid as on time
- Project objectives are met and findings are presented with a high degree of professionalism, in a timely manner – making sure our clients are delighted with the work we do and the manner in which we do it
- Inform management of activities/progress via weekly reports and forecast revisions
- Create and maintain a business plan for each account
Position Requirements
- A strong background in marketing and/or marketing research
- Mature and/or growing network of senior contacts, particularly in appropriate positions in target companies
- Marketing, market research, consulting firm, or comparable experience
- Excellent Market Development and Business Development skills
- Proven track record of being able to win and deliver large scale consulting and research contracts ($300K +)
- Strong communication, organization, and execution skills
- Must be comfortable learning and doing new things, and taking on new challenges
Personal Requirements
- Academic qualifications—MBA, PhD, etc.
- Strong consultative sales skills—capable of facilitating client decision making
- Impeccable ethics and strong work ethic
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative, able to work in a startup environment
- Willing to be accountable on attainment and contribution to the company
- High level of personal energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to understand quantitative issues
- Ability to create insights and values from data
- Excellent people skills, both upward and downward
- Excellent communications skills, team player
- Able to travel 25%-50% throughout US, Europe and Asia
